I started being tutored by Jabir Merali towards the end of year 10. I took tuitions in math and science as my exam grades for that year were not so great. I had a 6 in Maths and a 5 and 4 in science. Jabir immediately established a rapport, which put me at ease, and after finding out what my base knowledge was, started working on me.
His teaching methods are engaging, and he ensured that I understood what he was teaching, and yet also made sure I was being challenged by the work he gave me. My mum was very happy with the fact that he gave regular feedback on my progress, and with his encouragement and support, I got outstanding results in my GCSEs, with an 8 in Maths and 8-7 in science.
